Mid Winter Healing
SOLACE FOR THE PSYCHIC SOUL by Sara Daniel :
Dex Seer has spent his life on the wrong side of the law, working for anyone who will pay him enough to afford the medicine his sister needs to keep from going blind. But the medicine no longer exists. In desperation, he books a stay at the Wiccan Haus to heal his sister. With a sexy government spy following him through the portal, he stands to lose everything he’s spent his life protecting.
After too many years reading the evil, sadistic thoughts of her government’s enemies, Monica Smic is exhausted and cynical. Worse, her soul discovered its mate in a lawless bounty hunter, and staying away from him is destroying her from the inside out. When she passes out on the job, her boss forces her to take a week off at the Wiccan Haus to get her act together.
Despite their mutual distrust, the more time Dex and Monica spend in each other’s company, the more their battered souls find solace in the other’s. But Dex’s first loyalty is to his sister, and Monica’s is to her government. On the Winter Solstice, they will either heal each other or lose everything in winter’s fiercest storm.
ALINA’S LIGHT by Carolyn Spear :
Alina Argal hopes to mix in a little pleasure when she visits her childhood friend Sarka Rowan at Wiccan Haus. She badly needs a boost to her battered ego following a humiliating breakup of her arranged engagement to Thad Yates ,the eldest son of one of the most powerful magical families. A little R and R at the lighthouse should help her get her feet back under her. The last person she expects to find sharing the small lightkeeper's house with is Thad's brother Sean.
Long the black sheep of the family for being born without magic, Sean Yates has always gone his own way. A former Army infantry officer, he now suffers a slight limp and PTSD. His one desire is to win Alina's love now that his brother is out of the picture. But is he really?
Will Alina open herself to the one brother she needs and deserves or marry for duty?
LOVE’S MAGICK by Leigh Daley :
Soren Feodor has never backed down from a challenge. But when his attempt to unlock a treasure fails miserably, his sole hope lies with Emma van Pelt, the only human who ever successfully resisted him. A trip to the Wiccan Haus could heal his body, but Emma knows nothing about the dangers of the magical work that lies before them.
When a chance encounter brought Emma face to face with the mages of the paranormal world, mysterious Soren tried and failed to make her forget it ever happened. Now she’s the only chance he has at revealing the powers of a legendary magical item, provided he will even let her try to help.
Can the two learn to work together and unravel the wards of the Tears of Therin, or will love’s magick be the death of them?

Sorcerer’s Legacy by Carolyn Spear
Sorcerer’s
Legacy by Carolyn Spear
Now Available
Librarian Rebecca Jones
has always found solace in books. The death of her grandmother leaves her alone
in the world. An inherited old Welsh scroll renews her desire to find the
father she never knew. She hopes fairytale Wiccan Haus will yield the answers she
needs.
Descendent of the
inspiration for the Merlin legend, Ian Branson lives with the responsibility of
protecting humans and paranormal beings. He takes an impromptu vacation with
the Rowans of Wiccan Haus, seeking healing for his out of control psychic
abilities.
As soon as Ian meets
Becca, he feels the pull of his soulmate. Love has no place in his life but he
cannot deny the peace only she can provide. Becca finds her Welsh knight in
shining armor to translate her scroll but passion tempts her from her quest to
find her father.
As their relationship
blooms, Ian fears putting another loved one in jeopardy. A tryst isn’t enough
but Ian’s charmed solution goes awry.
With his emotions into a tailspin, he is forced to sacrifice his pride
and ask the formidable eldest Rowan for help.
Will Sarka’s magic
reverse the sorcerer’s spell and will Becca accept Ian’s legacy and her own?
From
his Richard Gere hair to his stern clean-shaven jaw, he was model material. His
eyes, soft green like a mist-covered glade, penetrated straight to her soul.
Ian posed a danger to her heart, no matter how he charged her body.
Remember
what Grandma always said. “Think with your logical brain,
not with your romantic heart. Love does not put food in your mouth or a roof
over your head.”
Or
decipher an ancient Welsh text.
“What
can I do?” she asked as she stood, having nothing to do.
He
rose from where he’d prepared the fire pit and walked to her, extending his
hand. After a moment, she took it and stood beside him.
“Nothing.
It’s done. Are you ready?”
“For
what?” Truly, the limits of reality had been shattered and anything seemed possible.
“For
magick.”
Welcome
to Wiccan Haus. I know you’ll love this series as much as I do. It is a world
of possibilities, an escape from our daily realities. An island with shifters,
witches, and all manner of paranormal beings, there’s mystery and magic around
every bend, in each encounter.
I’m
Carolyn Spear, mother of two sweet girls and wife of one fabulous husband.
Reading, gardening and exploring are my passions. I don’t really “write” but
rather channel my characters' stories to share with others. A strange
combination of small town girl, travel enthusiast and geek, I am thrilled to be
a part of the shared world of the Wiccan Haus.
For
Becca’s personality, I channeled by inner child. I still believe in magic and
knights in shining armor. She gets a little more than she bargains for at
Wiccan Haus. Wizards and werewolves and vampires, oh my!
Ian
Branson is an older than usual hero, but I like my heroes a little more
experienced. A little uptight and a little supercilious, he is surprised at the
feral passion Becca unlocks in him. He has to deal with all the emotions he
keeps under lock and key to function. I think he exemplifies many of us who
function more than live. And it’s a Merlin inspired tale, who I’ve always felt
got a raw deal at the end of his life so I wrote him a different ending.

Guarding His Heart by Carolyn Spear #WiccanHaus
School teacher Cassidy Sinclair’s sanity is questioned after claiming to see her hero appear out of thin air. Her savior dies in her arms after intercepting a gunshot meant for her and her student, Allan Branson. The only person who believes her account is the boy’s father who arranges her one-week stay at an exclusive holistic healing spa called the Wiccan Haus off the coast of Maine.
Trevor Green, a paranormal, is recovering—again—from gunshot wounds at Wiccan Haus. His body battered and his confidence broken, he is tasked to protect the woman he almost got killed. The one he’s fantasized about for months and who thinks he’s dead.
“What happened?”
What happened? He inhaled a calming breath and counted to ten, aware that Cemil and Cyrus had joined Sage and were awaiting his answer. Well, not Cemil. He was just being polite. As a telepath, he’d already read Trevor’s thoughts.
“She was determined to come back here and I had to stop her.”
Cemil grinned. “The best you could come up with was decloaking her dead savior right in front of her?”
“Yeah,” he snarled, “it was.” Cassidy stirred in his arms and he tightened his hold keeping her close. He savored the innocent intimacy and hated himself for enjoying it.
Dana stood between the two elevators. “Your room or hers?”
“Hers.”
He nodded toward Sage as he waited for the third elevator, the one reserved for the humans. Somehow, these siblings had charmed the elevators so that only humans could use the one designated to go to the third floor and only Paranormals could use the second floor elevator. The first elevator was reserved for the siblings alone. No one knew where that one went.
“I could use a key to her room.”
“How will you get there?” Sage asked, though he was sure she knew the answer. As always, he would wait patiently, cloaked, for his opportunity.
“Don’t worry about me. Just get me the key. She’s not going to be an easy one to keep an eye on.” The elevator pinged and Dana escorted him to the third floor.
In the privacy of the elevator, he pressed his lips to her hair. She wouldn’t know, but he would remember the silky strands caressing his cheek during the long lonely nights.
He needed to concoct a believable explanation for materializing out of thin air without threatening her sanity. Or his secret.
About the author
Once upon a time
there an only child who grew up with a single mother in a rural Virginia
county. This curious, bright girl, full of imagination, often roamed in her
mind to far away places she’d read about or seen on television. Now, decades
later, she appreciates the slow, steady ritual of suburban life as a wife and
mother of two similarly whimsical girls. The trips are still frequent, only now
she records them to share with others. Enjoy!

Is it Summer at the Wiccan Haus?
Welcome to the Wiccan Haus Blog hop stop
Meet the Rowan Siblings owners of the Spa and resort...
Sarka (the eldest)
Sarka Rowan is the Alchemist. She creates potions and practices transmutation. Her skill with transmutation is unparalleled in the paranormal world. Although her gift is most effective with a para, she has been known to assist the rare human. She refuses to make a love potion or to bring back someone from the dead. Neither ever works out well.

Cyrus (the second eldest)
Cyrus Rowan is the Retrocog - when he touches an item, he is able to see the past of the current owner and in some cases past owners. Very handy when they find an item and do not know who it belongs to. He is uncomfortable with his gift and rarely uses it. He wears gloves so he isn’t overwhelmed with information from items he touches.
Cemil (the middle child)
Cemil Rowan is the Empath – although he can sense a person’s feelings from a great distance (even through the telephone when taking reservations), his true powers come when he can physically hold the hands of the person he is trying to heal. Cemil is more whimsical than the others.
Sage (the youngest)
Sage Rowan is the Herbalist. She has the ability to know just what materials (herbs, spices and flowers) are needed to help a client—human or para—heal. She creates the shakes, food, candles, and soaps required for each individual client’s needs during their stay on the island.
And two important Residents of the Island...
Rekkus is the head of Security. He is the were-tiger, hero of Shifting Hearts and mated to Dana. When in Tiger form he is a 700-pound Black tiger with silver stripes. He is officially bodyguard to Cyrus.
Myron is the receptionist and is a card reader. She works the front desk and has what appears to be a standard set of playing cards.

Wiccan Haus Wicked Warrriors Halloween Hop
Is it any wonder that we as writers and readers are drawn to books that have hero and heroines in warrior professions? Not really because there is honor in what they do. And we love honorable heroes. Even if they don't always start that way. :)
Books 2 and 4 in the Wiccan Haus series have Military Heroes.
Army sniper Justin Lawson
And
Coast Guard rescue swimmer Kaleb Theldon
I can't imagine they will be the last either.
Get to know the Heroes of the Wiccan Haus.
Buy these and any of the Wiccan Haus books at Musa Publishing.
The Wiccan Haus is a shared world series, so the series is written by a handful of different authors. All bringing their own touch and characters into the series and the setting but always using atleast one of the main Characters from the series.
